How to order a sun shade sail on the individual dimension?

• Choose color,
• Choose the size of the first side,
• Choose the size of the other side,
• Choose the shape of the sides: the standard is profiling the sides into arches to the center, approx. 20 cm. The sides can be sewn straight, but for sails with sides longer than 3m, we recommend using an additional mounting point halfway down the side. 
• You can attach a specification / pattern / photo to help us process the order
• You can choose a mounting kit (optional): wood / masonry / metal / mixed -wood + masonry

Is the HDPE shade sail waterproof?

No. HDPE is a breathable material designed to provide sun protection and air circulation. During rainfall, water passes through the fabric structure.

Does the sail protect against UV radiation?

Yes. The HDPE fabric helps reduce exposure to harmful UV rays while creating a comfortable shaded outdoor area.

Why are the sides of the sail curved?

Curved sides help distribute tension evenly across the entire sail surface. This allows the sail to be properly tensioned and maintain an attractive appearance. Straight edges can also be manufactured on request. For larger dimensions, additional fixing points may be required.

Can I order a sail in a custom size?

Yes. Every sail is manufactured to your individual dimensions. For non-standard shapes such as trapezoids or polygons, please contact our technical team before ordering.

Is a mounting kit included?

No. Mounting kits are available separately and can be selected for wood, masonry, metal or mixed installation surfaces.

Can I leave the shade sail installed all season?

Yes. The HDPE fabric is designed for outdoor use and is resistant to UV radiation and normal weather conditions. During extreme weather events or strong winds, temporary removal is recommended.
